Henry Horenstein is a photographer, author, and educator
who has published over thirty books for children (A Is For?) and
adults including classic texts (Black and White Photography; A Basic
Manual) and monographs (Creatures, Canine, Aquatics). Horenstein's work
has been exhibited Internationally and within the United States at venues
such as Robert Klein Gallery, Boston, MA; Paul Kopeikin Gallery, Los Angeles,
CA; Sarah Morthland Gallery, New York, NY; Kathleen Ewing Gallery, Washington
D.C.; Edward Carter Gallery, New York, NY; and John Cleary Gallery, Houston,
TX. Photographs by Henry Horenstein can be found in many public and private
collections including Fidelity Investments, Boston, MA, Fogg Museum of Art,
Cambridge, MA, High Museum of Art, Atlanta, GA, Library of Congress, Washington
D.C., Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX, Museum of the Rhode Island School
of Design, Providence, RI, and Polaroid Collection, Cambridge, MA. Henry
is a professor at the Rhode Island School of Design. |
